Costock is a village and civil parish in the Rushcliffe district of Nottinghamshire, although its closest town and the postal address are Loughborough, across the border in Leicestershire. It is next to the A60 (Nottingham-Loughborough) road. It has a Church of England primary school. St. Giles' Church, Costock built 1350 which stands somewhat back from the main street of the village.
The Community of the Holy Cross has a small nunnery in the parish since 2011.
Premiere Travel operate a service, Red 9, between Nottingham and Loughborough which passes through the village on the A60. East Midlands Airport is 10 miles away.
