Costin Petrescu (musician)

Costin Petrescu is a Romanian musician (drummer),[1] born in Bucharest in 1949. He played with two Romanian rock bands of the 1960s and 1970s': Olimpic '64 (1961–1971) and Phoenix (1971–1974) (also known as Transsylvania Phoenix in Germany). He is a graduate of the Architecture Institute (1974) and he works today as an architect in Paris. Recently he has played and composed electronic, rock, etno, alternative and contemporary music, sometimes together with Mircea Florian. He is occasionally reunited with Phoenix for live performances.
