Copa Cafam

The Copa Internacional Cafam is a Football tournament that serves as a pre-season for Colombian teams. The whole tournament is played in Bogotá on late January. The tournament is organized by Millonarios and La Caja de Compensacion familiar (Cafam). All games are played in Estadio El Campín.

2008 tournament

The first edition of the tournament was played in 2008, taking América de Cali as a champion, who played in the finals against Millonarios. The invited team was Huracán of Buenos Aires, Argentina, while the other Colombian team was Santa Fe.

2009 tournament

The second edition was played in 2009, and the international invitee was Argentinos Juniors of Argentina. The other two teams that were in that tournament were América de Cali and Atlético Nacional, both from Colombia. Millonarios won again that tournament in its second edition. The final match was between America and Millonarios . By the time the game end, Millonarios' players celebrated that championship like if they had won a real international tournament.
