Constituency NA-55 (Rawalpindi-VI) (Urdu: این اے-۵۵، راولپنڈی-۶) is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan.

The result of general election 2008 in this constituency is given below.

Result

Javed Hashmi succeeded in the election 2008 and became the member of National Assembly.[1]

Election 2013

For the May 11 general elections more than 20 aspiring candidates have filed their papers to contest elections. Among them are Siddique-ul-Farooq, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar Malik Shakeel Awan (PML-N), Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed (AML), Ijaz Khan Jaazi (PTI) and Amir Fida Paracha (PPP).[2] Farooq is considered as a front-runner in getting the PML-N ticket from the constituency while the PML-N dissident, Jaazi may not be given the PTI ticket as the party chairman, Imran Khan had announced support for Sheikh Rasheed in this constituency in trade for Rasheed's support of Khan in NA-56.[3]
