Constituency NA-120 (Lahore-III) (Urdu: این اے-۰۱۲، لاهور-۳) is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan.
Election 2008
The result of general election 2008 in this constituency is given below.
Result
Bilal Yaseen succeeded in the election 2008 and became the member of National Assembly.[1]
Election 2013
General election 2013 will be held on May 11, 2013. The candidate for the Pakistan Muslim League - N party was the President of the party Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Canvassing for Mr. Sharif (who was campaigning throughout the country for the nationwide elections) was his daughter Ms. Maryam Nawaz.
Mr. Nawaz Sharif was successful at winning this seat in the 2013 general election and vacated the other National Assembly seat he won from Sahiwal as one person could only be a representative of one constituency under the requirements of the constitution of Pakistan. He later became the Prime Minister of Pakistan using his status as the representative of this constituency in the National Assembly. Thus, this seat is of a lot of importance as it is the constituency of the Prime Minister of the country himself.
The results of the 2013 general election for this constituency are given below in which Mr. Sharif won by a sizeable majority.
