Conceived in Fire is the sixth album by the Christian metal band Living Sacrifice. It would be the final album for Matt Putman, and the last album recorded before the band's five year retirement. The album artwork was done by renowned artist Travis Smith, who has done artwork for Opeth, Katatonia, Strapping Young Lad and Soul Embraced to name a few. The album name comes from Hebrews 12:29, "For our God is a consuming fire."[1]
