Coldseed is a European heavy metal band. It is led by Swedish frontman vocalist Björn Strid of Soilwork and Terror 2000. The five other members are German drummer Thomen Stauch (Savage Circus), countrymen bassist Oliver Holzwarth (Blind Guardian) and keyboardist Mi Shüren (Blind Guardian), and unheralded guitarists Swedish Thorsten Praest and Spanish Gonzalo Alfageme López.[1]
The band was formed as a side project in 2005. Although they are an active band, they have released only one album. Their music is classified as any of the following: Gothic metal, Groove metal or Industrial metal [2]
This release, Completion Makes the Tragedy (2006), was launched by Nuclear Blast.[3]
