Colbert (pronounced Cole-bert) is an unincorporated community in Spokane County, Washington, United States. The town is on U.S. Route 2, north of the city of Spokane.

Colbert has one store, the Colbert Trading Company on Yale Road, just off Colbert Road. It closed down in 2010 and will be reopened to be a place where they sell pizza, ice cream, candy bars, beer and some other things. Colbert also has a post office.

Children who live in Colbert attend either Colbert Elementary School on Greenbluff Road or Midway Elementary School, both of which, along with Shiloh Hills Elementary, feed into the newly formed Mountainside Middle School (previously Mead Middle School), which feeds into Mount Spokane High School. These elementary schools are part of the Mead School District.

Colbert Elementary School (mascot = the Cougars) has about 600 students enrolled, with 25 classroom teachers, 11 specialists, and 26 support staff.

Additionally, the K-12 private school Northwest Christian is located in Colbert. Northwest Christian was founded in 1949, and their men's basketball team has won the 2B High School tournament the past four years.

There are four churches in Colbert, all within a mile of each other. The first is Colbert Presbyterian Church, the second is St. Joseph's Parish (Catholic) Church, the third is Colbert Chapel Evangelical Church on Bernhill Road, and the fourth is Colbert Church of Christ on Yale Road.
