Coelotrochus chathamensis is a species of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Trochidae, the top snails or top shells.[1]

Description
The length of the shell varies between 8 mm and 10 mm. The whorls are flat with an elevated upper edge, and, together with the base, spirally striated. The columella has a slight posterior fold, but the anterior portion is nearly smooth. The axial cavity is small and smooth. The color of the shell is white with pink or brownish purple markings. The base of the shell is white with interrupted pink spiral lines. [2]
Distribution
This marine species occurs off New Zealand.
