'Co-Ed School' is a South Korean pop group formed by record company Core Contents Media in 2010. They consisted of Taewoon, Sungmin, Jungwoo, Hyoyoung, Hyewon, Soomi, Kwanghaeng, Kangho, Chanmi and Noori in their training. The concept of the group was that they were of mixed gender; six males and four females. The members of the group were eventually divided into two sub-unites; an all female-group called F-ve Dolls (2011) and an all-male group Speed (2012). In 2013, Core Contents Media announced that both SPEED and F-ve Dolls totally independent groups volverian i.e. would no longer called sub units Coed School, on this basis it is believed that the group broke completely through the sub units, but this is just a rumor because the agency still does not announce a formal separation.

History

2010: Debut with Something That Is Cheerful and Fresh

Just under three weeks since their debut, the group followed up "Too Late" with a second single, "Bbiribbom Bberibbom" (삐리뽐 빼리뽐). The music video for the song was recorded on October 11, 2010, and features T-ara member Ham Eun-jeong. The video, along with a second music video for ballad "Nae Simjangeul Ttwige Haneun Mar" (내 심장을 뛰게 하는 말 "I Love You A Thousand Times"), was released on October 18. The single itself was released on October 19, and they performed "Bbiribbom Bberibbom" for the first time the next day on M! Countdown. "Bbiribbom Bberibbom" has so far peaked at number 61 on the Gaon Chart.[1]

The group's debut mini album, Something That Is Cheerful and Fresh, was released on October 28, 2010. It features the three previously released songs and various remixes. Despite being limited to 20,000 copies, Core Contents Media announced that the album had received 50,000 pre-orders.[2]

2011: F-ve Dolls debut, Charming Five Girls

The four female members of the band along with Seo Eunkyo, were announced by Core Contents Media as a sub group called 5dolls. On February 7, 2011 5dolls has released a debut music video teaser with the title track, "Ipsul Jaguk" (입술자국 "Lip Stains") was produced by Brave Brothers. The music video was also directed by Cha Eun-taek. The MV also featured Jay Park. On February 16 they released the MV for "Neo Mariya" (너 말이야 "Your Words") and a debut mini-album "Charming Five Dolls".

F-ve Dolls released a 2nd mini-album "Time To Play" on May 11, 2011 with the lead single "Like This Or That" (이러쿵 저러쿵) at that same day they also released their MV for "Like This Or That".

2012: SPEED debut, Hommage to Lovey-Dovey

In early 2012 debut male sub-unit with a digital single called Hommage To Lovey-Dovey SPEED members on their debut were 5 members of the group (with the exception of Kang Ho), but the union Shin new hire Jongkook of "Superstar K3". Hommage to Lovey-Dovey contains 2 songs, and was released in tribute to the song Lovey-Dovey of the Korean female group T-ara.

2013: Possible separation

Because the subunits of the group has become totally independent groups is believed that the group broke completely through the subunits, that like the possible comeback of the group is just a rumor because the agency still not announcing an official separation.

2014: Possible return

Days after the comeback of F-ve Dolls in 2013, a representative of Core Contents Media announced privately that there would be a comeback of the group in 2014, which would see the current 6 team members. This as well as the separation is only a rumor has not been confirmed yet.

Members

Since the debut of F -ve Dolls many members began to leave the group because as this was idle did not know if they would have a good future with Coed School. In early 2011 Kangho group leader left the group to pursue his acting career, because of this leadership role was transferred to Soo Mi. After promotions debut F -ve Dolls finish was announced that Soo Mi ( the current leader of the group at the time) would leave the group to pursue a solo career, she was replaced by Nayeon who takes his place in F- see Dolls and Coed School, although Nayeon has not made his debut with the group if you are considered a member of the group because there is a contract which establishes, after the abandonment of Soo Mi leadership role happened to the lead singer Chan Mi. Chan Mi left the group in 2012 to pursue his solo career and the role of leader would happen to Jung Woo, later left the group Kwangheng and Noori . Since 2011 the group has been inactive and have only pulled SPEED and F -ve Dolls, it is believed that the group back in 2014 with its 6 current members .
