The Cochin College is an arts and science college located at Kochi, India. The Cochin College was founded on July 15, 1967, in response to an increasing demand for higher education in Cochin. The College symbolises the hopes and aspiration of the public of Cochin and is a milestone in the crowded history of the commercial town of Cochin. Slowly but steadily the institution grew into a post-graduate college in 1995 from its humble beginning as a junior college in 1967.The college was accredited by NAAC with B Grade (2.85) in February, 2012.

The College is sponsored by the Cochin Education Society which was founded as a result of the joint efforts of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and the former Mattancherry Municipal Council. The College is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and offers various courses in both Science and Humanities at the degree level such as Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Commerce, Economics, English Literature and Mathematics At the P.G level the College offers M.Com, with specialistion in Financial Management, M.Sc Physics with Electronics and M.Sc Chemistry with Environmental Chemistry. The College is producing consistently good results in all the disciplines in University examinations.
