Clive Cowdery

Clive Cowdery (May 26, 1963) is an English businessman who made a personal fortune in the insurance industry and has since donated large amounts to charity. He is closely associated with Resolution plc, which was among the first companies to benefit from the invention of the "zombie fund". Resolution Life was sold off to Hugh Osmond, the owner of Pearl Group.

Early Life Born of Anglo Danish parentage, Clive Cowdery is the second eldest of five siblings and went to what was, at the time of his attendance, known as Clevedon Comprehensive School (now known as Clevedon Community School), from 1974 to 1981.


Resolution Foundation Cowdery set up the research and policy analysis "think tank" Resolution Foundation - a not-for-profit research group in 2005.
