Clifford M. Trump (born March 25, 1937) served as interim President of Idaho State University from 1984 to 1985.

Professional Background: Since 1994, has served as chancellor of the State College System; previously served as president of Black Hills State University for nine years; received bachelor's degree in English from the University of Nebraska at Kearney; master's degree in education from Arizona State University; and a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Wyoming in Laramie.
