Classified Ventures, LLC, is a Delaware limited liability company, based in Chicago, owned by a strategic joint-venture of five large media companies -- A. H. Belo, Gannett Company, Inc., The McClatchy Company, Tribune Company, and Graham Holdings Company[1] -- to capitalize on the revenue growth in the online classified advertising categories of automotive and rentals. Websites include Cars.com, Apartments.com and ApartmentHomeLiving.com.

In 2010, Classified Ventures was recognized as one of the “2010 Hottest Companies in the Midwest” by Lead411.[2]
