Claire Bonenfant

Claire Bonenfant (June 27, 1925 - September 29, 1996) was a Québécoise politician and champion of feminist rights. A Chevalier of the Ordre national du Québec, Bonenfant was former president of the Quebec Status of Women Council.[1] The University of Laval's "Claire Bonenfant Chair in Women’s Studies" is named in her honour.[2]
