City of Champions

The term City of Champions may refer to the following cities, which have a sign:
- Edmonton, Alberta, Canada: so named for the city's response to the tornado of July 31, 1987 and also for sporting success during the 1980s
- Tampa, Florida, USA: so named on the road sign Welcome TO Tampa.
- Brockton, Massachusetts, USA: so named after boxers who fought out of the city, e.g. Marvin Hagler and Rocky Marciano
The following cities have also been labeled City of Champions on sports memorabilia, posters, magazine covers after winning a lot of titles:
- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA: so named during the 1970s/early 1980s for 7 titles in 9 years and again during the late 2000s for 3 titles in 4 years.
- Boston, Massachusetts, USA: so named during the 2000s for sporting success. All four teams won eight championships within eleven years.
- Detroit, Michigan, USA: so named during the 1930s for sporting success (see Champions Day)

- It is also the former name of a riverboat in Pittsburgh's Gateway Clipper Fleet, now known as the Good Ship Lollipop
