City College Plymouth
City College Plymouth is a tertiary institution and further education college in South West England having two main sites: the Goschen Centre in Keyham and the Kings Road Centre in Devonport, both in Plymouth, Devon. The Kings Road Centre is built on the site of the former Devonport Kings Road railway station. It is also a partner college of the University of Plymouth. The college was formerly known as the Plymouth College of Further Education and was officially renamed on 1 January 2007.[1]
The college is one of the most successful participants of the 10:10 project. Over the course of one year they reduced their carbon emissions by 38%.
The college in a sponsor of UTC Plymouth, a new university technical college (UTC) which will open in September 2013.
