Parts and Intersections of the C-3 Road

C-3 Road

Is the portion of C-3 from R-10 to 5th Avenue and continues from 5th Avenue to Sgt. Rivera Avenue

5th Avenue

Is the portion of the C-3 road which is currently 2-lane, eastbound one-way traffic located in Caloocan City from C-3 Road (West) to C-3 Road (East). Currently this segment of the C-3 is undergoing an 6 lane (3 on both sides) expansion to accommodate and connect C-3 Road (East) and C-3 Road (West) to both East and West bound traffic

Sgt. Rivera Avenue

After passing the Caloocan Borders, C-3 Road (East) becomes Sgt. Rivera Avenue. Sgt. Rivera Avenue is a main road in Quezon City with 6 lanes. It becomes G. Araneta after turning southwards after its intersection with Sto Domingo Avenue. Oftentimes the names G. Araneta and Sgt. Rivera are interchangeably used by people in this segment of the C-3.

Gregorio Araneta Avenue

C-3 becomes G. Araneta Avenue after turning southwards after its intersection with Sto. Domingo Avenue up to where it was cut short in San Juan via the N. Domingo Street. This area of the C-3 is well known for its big funeral parlors such as Arlington and La Funeraria Paz, SM City Sta. Mesa and the creek from Toctokan Street up to Quezon Avenue which is a flood prone zone due to overflowing during rainy season and it being one of the lowest area in the C-3 (the other is the area where it crosses with Aurora Boulevard).

Metro Manila Skybridge

The Metro Manila Skybridge is a proposed 6-lane elevated expressway that will form the missing link of the C-3 connecting G. Araneta Avenue in Quezon City to South Avenue in Makati City with several interchanges.

South Avenue and Ayala Avenue

Are segments of the C-3 Road from J.P. Rizal Avenue to Paseo de Roxas. These roads, along with Arnaiz Avenue (formerly Pasay Road & Libertad), passes through the area of the Philippines' Premier Central Business District one of which is the Ayala Center in Makati.

Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue (Buendia Avenue)

At the junction between Ayala Avenue, C-3 continues by turning west to Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue up to the Roxas Boulevard. Along with South Avenue and Ayala Avenue, it passes through the area of the Philippines' Premier Central Business District one of which is the Ayala Center in Makati. SLEX can be accessed through its junction with it. And also it passes through several provincial bus stations in the junction with Taft Avenue.

Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue Extension (Buendia Avenue Extension)

The Sen. Gil Puyat extension from Roxas Boulevard to J.W. Diokno Boulevard in the Reclamation Area in Pasay are no longer parts of C-3. C-3, like the other completed circumferential roads in Manila and in Metro Manila (C-1, C-2, and C-4), starts in R-10 and officially ends in R-1.
