Cincinnati Saints is a professional soccer organization based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Formerly an amateur club, the Saints moved up to professional status in 2013, fielding an indoor soccer team in the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) for the 2013-14 PASL season and announcing an outdoor team in the National Premier Soccer League to begin play with the 2014 NPSL season.

PASL

The indoor team plays in the PASL's Eastern Division until the leadership of interim head coach Chris Morman with assistant coach Kyle Kammer.[1] The PASL is an international arena soccer league with teams in the United States and Mexico.[2] The Saints home arena is the Tri-County Soccerplex in Cincinnati, Ohio.[3]

The Cincinnati Saints began their PASL run with a win over the Cleveland Freeze but lost six of their next eight matches. With 7 games remaining in the regular season, only the Illinois Piasa carried a worse record in the Eastern Division and the team parted ways with original head coach Matt Brienes on January 8, naming former player Chris Morman as his interim replacement. The Saints also participated in the 2013–14 United States Open Cup for Arena Soccer starting with a bye in the Round of 32 and a 10–6 loss to the Cleveland Freeze in the Round of 16, ending their tournament run.

NPSL

The outdoor team will play in the NPSL's Midwest Region – Great Lakes Conference under the leadership of head coach Gavin MacLeod. The NPSL is a national league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The Saints home field is Withrow High School Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.[4]
