General Info

The community is served by Cincinnati Christian Church with a rich history in the area, in a building now owned by the church many years ago, was the location of a switch board that provided communication to the outside world to many in the area. The community has an established volunteer Fire Department, and is home to Eastern Greene High School . The original community even had a general store that has now been torn down and was a cross roads of different highways. Today Highway 45, 54, and 445 is often referred to as the Bermuda triangle of highways that often created lost travelers headed to other cities and find a need to change directions at one end or the other of Cincinnati. With I69 coming through, travelers will need to be aware, was that highway 45 or highway 54 that I wanted or they may find themselves looking at a map as they sit in this small rural spot of Greene county Indiana.
