Cimarron is an unincorporated community in Harris County, Texas, United States. It is located at 29°46′15″N 95°45′30″W / 29.77083°N 95.75833°W / 29.77083; -95.75833 (29.7709000, -95.7583000), at an elevation of 125 ft (38 m).[1]

In 1975 the homeowner's association was incorporated and the first house was constructed. The home values remained stable through the oil bust and the late-2000s recession. Veronica Mullenix, the owner of Veronica Mullenix Real Estate Group, said "“I think it’s pride of ownership more than anything else." The last house in the community was built in the early 1990s; the subdivision is now built out.[2]

Education

Cimarron is in the Katy Independent School District. Residents are zoned to Cimarron Elementary School, West Memorial Junior High School, and Katy High School.[2]

Parks and recreation

The subdivision maintains a recreation complex for its residents. The complex includes a clubhouse, a playground, a swimming pool, and tennis courts.[2]
