Ciernie [ˈt͡ɕerɲe] (German: Czernien (1938-45:Dorntal)) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ełk, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1]
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). I think Ciernie from Prostkie is the Same place als Ciernie Elk
