 Chybie  is a village and the seat of Gmina Chybie in Cieszyn County, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It has a population of 3,903 (2012) and lies in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia.

Polish actor Henryk Machalica was born in the village.

History

It was first mentioned in a written document in 1568 as Zeleny Chyb.[1]

A sugar mill was established in the village in 1884, defunct since 2009.

The RKS Cukrownik Chybie soccer team was founded in 1937, currently plays in regional league of Silesian Voivodeship.
