Churup (Quechua, in Ancash Quechua spelled Tsurup) is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru,[3] about 5,493 metres (18,022 ft) high. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huaraz Province, Independencia District, northeast of Huaraz.[4] Churup is situated south of the mountain Ranrapallqa, between the Rima Rima in the northwest and Qullapaqu and Wamashrahu in the southeast, at the entrance to the Qillqaywank'a valley. Churup Lake lies at the foot of the mountain.
