The airport serves as the gateway to Chumphon and the islands of the a Gulf of Thailand and Chumphon Archipelago.

Nok Air operates flights to and from Chumphon Airport, Pathio District to Don Mueang International Airport DMK.

Happy Air operates flights between Chumphon Airport and Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport BKK with onward connections to Ranong.

The airport agents offer land connections by Lomprayah to Chumphon Pier and onto Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan via high speed ferry.
