Chuda

Chuda is a village in Gujarat, India with a population of about 30,000. It is a sub-district of Surendranagar, and is located near the city of Limbdi. It is known for its dry red chili powder. The population of Chuda comes from many different religious backgrounds, including those who identify with Jainism, Hinduism, and Islam.[citation needed]

During the British Raj period, Chuda was a non-salute princely state and was governed by members of a Jhala dynasty.[1]
