Christopher Schorch (born 30 January 1989 in Halle, Saxony-Anhalt) is a German footballer who plays for 1. FC Köln as a central defender.

Football career

Schorch came through the ranks of Hertha BSC, and made his Bundesliga debut in the closing stages of 2006–07. In July 2007, he signed with Real Madrid for 600,000,[1] being assigned to its B side, which had been freshly relegated to the third division.

After two years in Spain, Schorch returned to Germany and signed a four-year contract with 1. FC Köln, for €1 million.[2]
