Christopher Campbell McPhail is an Australian semi-professional ice hockey player, who plays defence for the Canberra Knights in the AIHL.

Playing career

McPhail showed promise as a youngster winning MVP on several occasions with the Canberra Phoenix. McPhail started playing for the Knights in 2008 and won rookie of the year after registering 2 points. McPhail is a prominent member of the Knights squad, playing on the first line and being good mates with all the cool hockey guys in Australia. His most proud moment was performing a traditional Canadian Sun dance before the 2008 Winter Olympics grand final hockey game in his native Vancouver. He was praised for his fluid and provocative movement, and pioneering of new sub-genres of the dance. He attended Daramalan College until 2009.

Personal

McPhail's hockey idol is Marc-Andre Bergeron. As of 2012, McPhail has been rumored to be dating local Sydney celebrity Maude Garrett, however both parties have denied any meetings ever occurring and McPhail claims to be faithful to his mum.
