Christian Marie Serratos[1] (born September 21, 1990) is an American actress. She is best known for portraying Angela Weber in Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn, which are based on the Twilight novels by Stephenie Meyer.
Early life
Serratos was born in Pasadena, California and raised in Los Angeles.[2][citation needed][1] She began figure skating when she was three, and continued competitively for 10 years, saying, "My coaches were talking about the Olympics and it was really crazy. Now, I just do it for fun."[2]
Career
She portrayed Angela Weber in the movie Twilight, which won her the "Young Supporting Actress" award in the Best Performance in a Feature Film category at the 30th Young Artist Awards. Serratos reprised the role in Twilight's sequels, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.[3] In 2011 she appeared in The Black Keys video for their song "Howlin' for You".
She ranked at number 65 on Maxim's "Hot 100" list for 2010.[4]
She has been cast to play Rosita Espinosa in the 4th season of AMC's series The Walking Dead. She will appear in the second half of the season in 2014. [5]
Personal life
Serratos became a vegetarian when she was 8 years old. She posed for PETA's campaign in November 2009.[6][7]
