Chris Potter (priest)

The Very Rev Christopher Nicholas Lynden Potter is the current Archdeacon of St Asaph. He was previously Dean of St Asaph from 2001 until 2011.[1]
He was born on 4 October1949, educated at Haileybury and the University of Leeds and ordained in 1993[2] after an earlier career as a furniture designer and cabinet maker. He began his ecclesiastical career as Curate at Flint after which he was Vicar of the grouped parishes of Llanfair DC, Llanelidan, Efenechtyd and Derwen, a post he held until his elevation to the Deanery.[3]
