Chris Gibbin
Chris Gibbin is an American producer and entrepreneur.
Professional background
Chris Gibbin began his foray into film as an art department assistant on John Sayles’ 1987 film Matewan. He went on to continue in the art department on films such as Singles, Sleepless in Seattle, and Se7en, among others. In 1994, along with his business partner, John Moshay, Chris founded DNA Studios, one of the first online interactive advertising agencies. DNA grew to a 140+ person agency before they sold it off to WhittmanHart in 2006.[1] During that time, Chris managed to produce Carmen Electra’s line of Aerobic Striptease fitness videos along with 12 other DVD fitness titles. In 2007 he joined forces with Phedon Papamichael to produce the independent thriller From Within, (2008 Grand Jury Award Winner at the Solstice Film Festival) which had its World Wide Premiere at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival and was included in the 2008 After Dark 8 Films to Die For.
Chris Gibbin is one of the Founder's of Something Massive, the first Post-PC advertising agency.[2]
His current film, Lost Angeles will World Premiere at the Oldenburg International Film Festival September 12-16, 2012.[3]
