Christopher Stephen "Chris" Beech (born 16 September 1974 in Blackpool, Lancashire) is an English ex-professional footballer. He is currently the youth team manager of Rochdale.

He began his career at his hometown club Blackpool. "I was 18 when I made my first-team debut against Port Vale at home," he recalled to the Chorley Guardian in 2006.[1] "I then signed a two-year contract under Billy (Ayre)."

before moving to Hartlepool United and then Huddersfield Town, where he was a member of Steve Bruce's Premiership-chasing side.

He left in 2002 to join Rochdale and later on Doncaster Rovers and Carlisle United.

He was the caretaker manager at Rochdale for a month, following Steve Eyre's dismissal in December 2011.[2] Rochdale lost three and drew three of the six games in which he took charge before John Coleman was installed as the permanent manager on 24 January 2012.[3] Beech returned to his role as youth team manager following the appointment.[4]

After assisting Keith Hill on an informal basis following his return as Rochdale manager on 22 January 2013, Beech was confirmed as Hill's new assistant manager on 16 May 2013.[5]
