Chris Banjo is an American football safety for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Southern Methodist.

College career

Attended Southern Methodist University

Came in Ranked as the nation's No. 95 safety by ESPN.com, A two-star Rivals.com and Scout.com prospect.

In his four years at SMU he recorded 174 total tackles, 4 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries.

Professional career

Banjo originally had tryouts with the Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2012, but neither team offered him a contract.

He was signed by the Jaguars as a free agent in April 2013, after a tryout during voluntary workouts. He was released by the Jaguars on July 25, 2013.[1]

On July 29, 2013, Banjo was signed by the Green Bay Packers.[2]
