Chris Armit (born 7 October 1983 in Newcastle, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Penrith Panthers of the National Rugby League. He has also previously played for the Parramatta Eels and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. His usual position of choice is at prop-forward.

As 2004 NRL premiers, the Bulldogs faced Super League IX champions, the Leeds Rhinos in the 2005 World Club Challenge. Armit played at prop forward in the Bulldogs' 32-39 loss.

He is eligible for Scotland's 2008 Rugby League World Cup campaign.[2][3][4]

He has been named in the Scotland training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[5]
