Chokin is a New Zealand Standardbred racehorse who was notable in winning the New Zealand Trotting Cup, which is New Zealand's most prestigious horse race.[3] Chokin is also one of the few horses to have won Harold Park Paceway's prestigious Miracle Mile twice.[4]

Major wins

Chokin was the first 2 year old to be voted New Zealand Horse of the year. He was also the first horse to run under 4 minutes for 3200 metres when he won the 1993 Auckland Cup.
