Cho Shik(korean:조식, hanja:曺植, June 26, 1501 - February 8, 1572) was Korean Joseon Dynastys Neo-Confucian scholar, educator, and poet. He had a major influence on the Easterners and the Northerners.. A penname of his was Nammyung(남명, 南冥), courtesy name was Geonjoong(건중, 楗仲).
