Chlumětín is a village and municipality (obec) in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 6.64 square kilometres (2.56 sq mi), and has a population of 195 (as at 3 July 2006).

Chlumětín lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) north of Žďár nad Sázavou, 46 km (29 mi) north-east of Jihlava, and 120 km (75 mi) east of Prague.
