Chlorophonia is a genus of finches endemic to the Neotropics. The English group name for the five species that constitute the genus is also chlorophonia. The collective (plural) term for the genus is chlorophonias. Chlorophonias share the subfamily Euphoniinae with the euphonias.

Chlorophonias are small, mostly bright green birds that inhabit humid forests and nearby habitats, especially in highlands.
