Chithara is a village in Kollam district in the state of Kerala, India.[1]
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,Chithara had a population of 20694 with 9727 males and 10967 females.[1] Chithara town is in Mancodu villages. Chithara town is the home to many educational establishments,govt offices etc. Apple Kids International Pre-School,Govt.HSS,Govt LPS, APRM TTI,APRM Central School, Jamia BEd College, Service Cooperative Bank, Govt.LPS, Chithara Juma-Masjid,Sree Krishnan Kovil Temple,Telephone Exchange, Sub-registrar office, Agriculture office like offices are in here, Akshaya Centre, lot of shops,private bank, an hour travel to Trivandrum Airport, 20 Minutes to MC Road.
