Chinchali is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Raybag taluk of Belgaum district in Karnataka.

Chinchali is a place on which the blessings of goddess "MAYAKKADEVI" are always there. The people of Chinchali worship "Mayakkadevi". There are lakhs of devotees of this goddess. Mayakkadevi is worshipped in most regions of the north Karnataka like Belgaum, Bagalkot, Dharwad etc. She is not only worshipped in Karnataka but also in Maharashtra. Actually speaking she has more number of devotees in Maharashtra than Karnataka. People from places like Sangli, Miraj, Satara, Karad, Mumbai, Karad arrive to render religious reverence and homage to her during her fest which lasts more than a month.
