Chidambara Rahasiyam is a 1985 Tamil comedy thriller film written and directed by Visu. It stars Visu, S. Ve. Shekher, Delhi Ganesh, Arun Pandian, Ilavarasi and Manorama. The film revolves around a simpleton (S. Ve. Shekher) who is framed for murder. Here enters Visu who teams up with the local police and Arun Pandian to find the real culprits. The subject matter of the film is not related directly to Chidambara Rahasiyam, a Hindu religious belief. The film was well appreciated for its comedy.

Plot
Chidambaram is an innocent but stupid boy from a rich family who always dreams of marrying his cousin Uma who is well educated and in love with Arun. when Uma's parents challenge him to get a job he sets to fall into the hands of wrong people an dis accussed for murdering a young woman.Beemarao is a police officer who investigates on the murder of a woman and rest of the plot elaborates how Uma and arun assist him to find the identity of the murderer and prove chidambaram's innocence.
