Chicago, IL 1996 is a complete concert live album by Athens, Georgia's Widespread Panic. This show is the fifth release from Widespread Panic's Porch Songs project. This performance was recorded live at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on October 31, 1996. The two-track soundboard recording features all original band members including late guitarist Michael Houser.

As has become customary for Halloween shows from the band, several covers debuted for the first time: The Doors' Riders On The Storm, Space Truckin' by Deep Purple and Golden Earring's hit Radar Love. The show also marked the return of ZZ Top's Sheik, to this date the only song percussionist Domingo S. Ortiz sings lead vocals on.[1] Space Truckin' has yet to return, while Radar Love has only been played one time since, nearly ten years later. [2]
