Chiaramonti (Gallurese: Chjaramònti, Sardinian: Tzaramònte) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 170 km north of Cagliari and about 25 km east of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,849 and an area of 98.7 km².[1]
Chiaramonti borders the following municipalities: Ardara, Erula, Martis, Nulvi, Ozieri, Perfugas, Ploaghe.
