Nuclear waste disposal site

In March 2013 commenting on the ongoing debate on nuclear waste disposal in Taiwan, Chern doubted that the nuclear waste can be disposed anywhere in Taiwan besides the Orchid Island. He said that people in general are not well-informed, that's why they become afraid and more resistive when it comes to any matter regarding nuclear issues. He asked the ROC government, especially Taipower, to encourage the people to speak up about nuclear power plant safety.[4]
