Chen Jianhua (Chinese: 陈建华; pinyin: Chén Jiànhuá; born January 1956 in Lufeng, Shanwei, Guangdong) is the current Mayor of Guangzhou in the People's Republic of China. Chen was appointed acting Mayor in 20 November 2011 following the resignation of Wan Qingliang. He was elected Mayor in 11 January 2012.[1]
