Chelsea is an unincorporated town in Saluda Township, Jefferson County, Indiana.

Geography

Chelsea is located at 38°39′02″N 85°31′30″W / 38.65056°N 85.52500°W / 38.65056; -85.52500. It is located on Indiana 62, between New Washington and Hanover.[3]

History

Chelsea was hit by a tornado on March 2, 2012, in which three people died.[3] A fourth fatality occurred about one mile away in Paynesville.[3]
