Chekneh (Persian: چكنه; also known as Chakaneh Pā’īin and Chakaneh-ye Pā’īn (Persian: چکنه پائین), and as Chakaneh-e Soflá and Chakaneh Soflā)[1] is a city in Sarvelayat District, in Nishapur County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,363, in 421 families.[2]
