Checheng Township (Chinese: 車城鄉; pinyin: Chēchéng Xiāng) is a rural township in Pingtung County, Taiwan.[1][2]
History
During the Kingdom of Tungning, it was called "Firewood City" (柴城Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Chhâ-siâⁿ). During Qing Dynasty rule, it was renamed "Car City" (車城).

- Population: 10,340 people (2006)
