Chełmsko Śląskie [ˈxɛu̯mskɔ ˈɕlɔ̃skʲɛ] (German: Schömberg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubawka, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, near the border with the Czech Republic.[1] Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.
It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Lubawka, (German: Liebau), 17 kilometres (11 mi) south of Kamienna Góra, (German: Landeshut), and 86 kilometres (53 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław, (German: Breslau).
The village has a population of 1,900.
