Chaunus granulosus is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family that can be found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, arable land, pastureland, plantations, rural gardens, urban areas, and heavily degraded former forest.
